Senior Software Engineer, In-House Product Development, Stockholm

Do you want to play a key role in designing, building and maintaining one of the largest cloud platforms around?

Here you'd be working full-time on my clients internal services and assisting in the large of their shiny product next year. To my client's knowledge a product of this scale, flexibility or customisability has never been seen before!

So do you have what it takes? Their entire platform handles millions of API requests every minute. Performance and scalability are of high importance to this company, especially as they continue to build and improve upon their existing platform and products.

The Role In short - You'll also be taking full-responsibility over the entire stack from development to production, from design to maintenance, from technical leadership to hands-on development! You will working with a large-scale, high availability back-end applications and own the platform infrastructure including AWS services, build pipelines and more. You will also be responsible for promoting a positive engineering culture through active technical leadership and hands-on development. You'll find that the majority of your new team are polyglots, and they choose to use the tools that are best for the job. So while you'll be expected to work with Java/Spring and Go once you start working here you will be expected to pick up another language over time.

Your skill set

You should have:

  • 7+ years Development experience
  • Strong experience with Java or Go
  • Confidence working within the Spring ecosystem (MVC, Boot, etc)
  • Knowledge of Cloud (ideally with AWS)
  • Strong CI/CD & Cloud experience - Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Gitlab, Rabbit MQ, Linux
  • Experience working with large distributed systems
  • You like to work in a highly independent cross functional team with a never ending drive to deliver great software with special focus on performance, maintainability and usability.
