As the Sr Field Service Manager (SFSM) located in Gothenburg, Vastra Gotaland, you will lead a team of about 15, split between Field Service Specialists, Administration support and Sales, to enable them to achieve Honeywell’s strategic growth objectives for the Swedish market. The customers are within the Industrial Process industries, either Oil and Gas or Pulp and Paper where Honeywell provide installation and support of automation, monitoring and control systems.
You will manage and work closely with the Field Service Specialists, you will be expected to motivate and inspire them, increasing productivity and sales, which is a challenge, as your employees are spread out geographically. As the SFSM your challenges are to deliver on the growth plans and to do so you will be working closely with the Sales Team to drive orders and new business opportunities. You will also manage some of the larger customer accounts by yourself.
You will have full responsibility for budget, personnel and to deliver the targets set. You will have the support from your team, other FSM’s to consult with and your Manager. Furthermore, as the SFSM you will be the spokesperson and figurehead for all business in Sweden and report to the Northern Europe Service Business Director at Honeywell Process Solutions.
You will be a technical specialist with responsibility for product and process application. Ensure product integrity, manufacturing output and continuous improvements working with factory operations. Prepare, from a technical point of view, the introduction into manufacturing and the tracking of the finished products, to satisfy the clients' requirements.
For this position you need to be able to travel (mostly within south Sweden) 100+ days a year.
Work life Experience
- Several years of work experience within the automation industry.
- Hands on experience of Management level for a small/Medium sized group.
- Experience in operating within an international /matrix organization.
- Experience in Customer Relations.
For this position, you need to have excellent interpersonal skills and be a strong and confident leader. You are someone who enjoys developing rapport with both your clients and your sales department. Your skill in coaching and developing your employees, your positivity and your business development skill will result in you seeing the company, your career and your team grow.

- Excellent organizational communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
- Driver’s license.
