As an Embedded Software Developer at Arjo you will work with development of new Medical Technology products that are at the forefront of the industry. Examples are hospital beds for e.g. intensive and critical care or baths with ultrasonic cleaning, therapies such as air and water massage, automatic cleaning systems with built-in sound and light systems, etc.

Main tasks as Embedded Software developer
You will work with hardware-related embedded software development, focused on structured programming for testability and develop clean, organized and well documented code.
Examples of tasks
- Embedded software development for microcontrollers and embedded Linux
- Low-level programming in C and C++
- Creating protocols and reports for software testing
- Hardware bringup
You will be part of a dedicated and dynamic R&D team with diverse skill set and working in close cooperation with the electronics engineers. You will also be a part of a global network of software developers from Arjo's other R&D sites, exchanging experiences and adapt the work between you.
Placement at Arjo’s head office in Malmö.
The skills you will need
You have a university degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems or similar and have worked as a Software Developer for at least 4 years in embedded systems, experience in hardware-related programming in C ++ and C.
You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

- ARM, primarily Cortex-family
- Standard IEC 62304
- Gnu toolchains
- Bluetooth and/or other wireless systems
