As a Project Manager you will be responsible for leading one or more software development projects with an aim to make sure your projects are carried out in the best way possible. In your day-to-day work you will engage with skilled and experienced software engineers to drive the projects forward to completion. More specifically this involves frequent and incremental planning together with your project team, consolidating and upholding project plans, keeping things moving forward and making sure projects are delivered according to goals and timelines. This requires close contact and collaboration with various stake holders, such as Product Managers. Another area of responsibility is contributing to improving project processes and project management tools within our project model.
To be successful in the position as Project Manager we believe that you have a background in software development (preferably 3-5 years experience of software development). You are fluent in Swedish and/or speak and write English on a full professional level.
Furthermore, great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities. As a person you bring a positive attitude and enthusiasm. You challenge and coach team members, you have the ability to deliver and receive constructive feedback, and gain the trust of your team. You are able to identify and solve any issues that arise and guide the team in their tasks.
You have the drive, ambition and ability to do what is needed to uphold project plans and deliver accordingly. You thrive in a position where the big picture is paramount, and communication is your most important tool.
Meriting for this position is several years of experience in project management as well as knowledge in different methods and models within project management. Your application will also receive extra credits if you have domain knowledge in any of the following areas: microprocessor architecture, embedded systems, hardware-oriented development, or software development tools such as compilers, debuggers, IDE etc.
