Project Description: 
The transformation from combustion engines to electrical engines is rapid and puts high demands on the developers regarding high power output at the same time as the packaging volume is small. The cooling capacity is important and it is crucial to include it into the virtual development phase before a physical test is conducted. 
This thesis will study a real industrial product development case with its embedded complexity. It will focus on reproducing temperature distribution on an electrical engine using CFD and compare it with physical testing. The thesis will most likely be performed in collaboration with one of our customers.
