Manager

Workplace, Web and Mobility Solutions

In a time where SKF is moving with speed into automation, digitalization and new business models - IT becomes a key driver and enabler of transformation. One of the key areas undergoing both transition and major future transformation is the Workplace, Web and Mobility area. You will be managing three areas;

  • Workplace solutions, including collaboration and voice. This area is undergoing massive development and transformation with a new global supplier.
  • Web solutions is focusing on our web-based services – primarily marketing, communication and the external SKF sites
  • Mobility solutions is acting as the Center of Excellence for all our design thinking, mobility and app development.

You will be managing a very dynamic team and be a service owner of areas with massive development activities and be a member of the ‘Transformation Services’ organizations’ management team.

Job responsibilities

You will globally manage the services, with emphasis of serving the three major regions with out-side in thinking from a service perspective:

  • Manage business engagement with relevant Transformation/Process Owners in SKF
  • Drive the change agenda and implementation of decided transition and transformation activities
  • Act as Service owner for the workplace, web and mobility area, including up-time, incident mgmt., financial planning and service roadmap
  • Manage, maintain and improve a portfolio of workplace and business systems, together with business and IT stakeholders
  • Manage suppliers daily and link up with the Service Management function to optimise end-user experience
  • Maintain and improve a strong and positive working climate for all staff and consultants supporting the transformations

Job requirements

  • Relevant University degree
  • Insight of the key SKF business challenges and significant experience from service transition and transformation
  • 10 years+ experience of working in/with the IT industry, with an end-user experience mindset
  • Knowledge of key ITIL processes (incident management, problem management, change management, request management, …)
  • Experience and work in SKF specific IT environment in various positions is a plus

This role will require a strong command of English and possession of any other international language is a plus.

Personal profile

  • Business focused with clear outside-in and service mindset towards business stakeholders
  • Ability to drive change and transformation with persistence and professionalism
  • Purposeful action taker with strategic and tactical mindset
  • Structured in planning in execution with multitasking ability
  • Strong and experienced people manager (7 years +)
  • Experience from supplier management in the IT industry
  • Excellent communication skills and able to manage in a matrix on international level

Additional information

The position is to be located at SKF head-office location Gothenburg, Sweden (local contract), and reports to the Director, Transformation Services, SKF IT.
