Since then OASE has continued the develop indoor aquatics products and 2019 saw the release of the latest range of OASE brand aquariums, the StyleLine. 2019 also saw the acquisition of Söll, a treatment specialist which has since enabled us to expand our range of treatments across the water garden and indoor aquatics segments.

On behalf of Oase, Michael Page is currently looking for their Key Account Manager Sweden.
This role is a full field sales and business development role. Whilst the emphasis lies on sales the role will also include finding and developing new business and managing customer relationships on all levels. You'll be mainly developing the southern part of Sweden and working once a month on the Stockholm area in order to secure business there as well. The role entails travel. You'll be reporting to the Managing Director and VP Consumer Business based in England.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Development of a full country business plan together with OASE UK management team
  • Market research and analysis
  • Finding new customers in all product categories and distribution channels
  • Working to and achieving agreed sales targets
  • Some translation and proof reading of text for local language catalogues and website
  • Developing growth with new and existing customers across Sweden
  • Training our customers on the products and sales techniques
  • Merchandising of the in store displays to a high level
  • Attending exhibitions on behalf of the company
  • Weekly reporting to management team
  • Weekly submission of journey plan for the week ahead
  • Staying alert to ensure economical journey plan is achievable
  • Occasional travel overseas for sales meetings, exhibitions and other meetings as required
  • Testing returned products where required


  • At least 3 years of experience within the industry with a good knowledge of retail
  • You have been working with gardening tools, machinery,.. knowledge / interest in aquarium is a big plus
  • You are a great communicator who can easily talk to different people on different level
  • You enjoy building relationships and have a strong business acumen
  • You are a self- motivator, customer oriented and can work in a structured and organized way
  • You speak fluently Swedish and English
