Your role as Project Excellence Manager
The Project Excellence Manager is Perstorp’s expert within the Project Management office providing support and competencies to projects in the areas of cost estimation, cost control, schedule, project risk handling in order to best-in-class performance in key growth projects. Another responsibility for the Project Excellence Manager is to steer and coordinate internal development/ improvements in order to enable continuous improvement in internal project management and project controls processes continuous. As our global organization serves all our manufacturing sites, the position will allow for participation in international investments and development projects.

As Project Excellence Manager you will be part of Perstorp’s Global Technology & Investment organization (GTI). We are a team with about 100+ professionals, genuinely experienced and competent engineering and project professionals who are the heart and core of the business. Our organization is a main enabler for development of Perstorp’s business and production, with a global portfolio of over 150 projects. Main drivers for PCG:s acquisition of Perstorp were its recognized position within Sustainability as well as Technology in the specialty chemicals markets. We are very proud of this recognition and are now in a position where we can add more value, both to existing business and through the identified additional Growth projects.
The Project Excellence Manager is an experienced professional with extensive knowledge and ability within the project control competencies and tools. You have a successful track record of leading and guiding the discipline in the key project phases - from front-end engineering to start-up of investments. In your previous assignments you have acted as project controls lead in project execution, using models as EPC, EPCM or in-house. You have strong business acumen and ability to do early cost estimates. You have proven capabilities in organizing and structuring complex assignments.
