We are currently looking to fill the role as Chief Dealer within the Equity Derivatives Trading team, within our Large Corporates & Financial Institutions (LC&FI) division.

The SEB Derivatives team service a variety of clients ranging from hedge funds, pension funds, institutional money managers and family offices.

As Chief Dealer you will be a key member in a team of four where collaboration and information sharing are crucial aspects in the day-to-day work activities. Your main responsibilities will be to act as market maker and provide liquidity mainly in the Nordic option markets but also in ETF’s, Shares and Investment Products. Additionally, as a senior member of the team, you are expected to take an active role in developing the business as well as the junior members in the team.

Some of your tasks will include, but are not exclusive to:

-          Pricing, hedging and managing risk of products traded by the desk

-          Make trading decisions based on a fundamental understanding of risk

-          Work strategically to grow the business collaboratively with internal partners

-          Collaborate closely with quant, market risk management, and product control to maintain and enhance the firms infrastructure

The role is based in our Kungsträdgården office in Stockholm.

The role is a great opportunity to join an enterprising team that are specialists in global derivatives, market structure and macro strategy, and will suit an individual that is hands on, with a strong client focus and a can-do attitude. In addition, we believe that you have:

-          At least 7 years’ relevant working experience from trading within both delta one and volatility products, from which you have gained a strong working knowledge of the Equity and Options markets

-          A proved track record of managing risk in equity option books,

-          Some experience leading others, but that is not a requirement,

-          Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and used to working in an international and fast paced environment with an ability to perform under pressure

-          Great team-working skills and actively contribute and promote an inclusive and transparent work environment

-          Experience from structured products and our trading system Prime Front is a bonus
