Software Developer - In house - Product development company

Job description:

Are you a highly motivated and hardworking software developer with good knowledge in TDD, BDD, DDD, SOLID principles and design patterns? Do you have good knowledge and experience working with C#, .NET / .NET Core, .NET MVC, Continuous Integration, Visual Studio, NUnit / xUnit, SQL Server, Postgres, Xamarin, Azure, JavaScript libraries, Scrum and Kanban?

This position is an in house role at a tech company who design and develop their own software. You will create global product and over 50 million end users will use the software that you produce. You will be part of a fun, yet hardworking and informal working environment in central Stockholm with people from all around the world. Together, you will work on .NET, mobile, web and cloud solutions. As a developer you will have focus on both user experience as well as complex internal algorithms.

Must have:

  • What it takes to be a team player
  • Good knowledge in object oriented design and TDD
  • Great experience with C#, .Net framework and NUnit / xUnit
  • Good spoken and written English

Should have:

  • University degree or higher in computer science, with good knowledge in mathematics, data types and algorithms
  • Experience working with agile development, Scrum or Kanban
  • JavaScript skills and experience working with AngularJS / React
  • Deep knowledge in other programming languages, like Ruby, F#, Clojure, Erlang, Go, Rust or Haskell

Nice to have:

  • Deep understanding of relational or NOSQL databases
  • Knowledge in REST APIs and micro services architecture
  • Experience with DevOps / deploy / build / container systems
  • Expertise in user experience and graphical design
