People Experience are so excited to help Olympus recruiting an experienced HR Business partner to join the North HR Team (Nordics, Baltics and Holland). The role is based in Stockholm and will support the Nordic countries: Sweden, Denmark, Finland (including the Baltics) and Norway. This means getting the opportunity and expectation to travel regularly and work closely with these markets.

As HR Business Partner, you are the point of contact for all existing HR issues for your part of the business, where you independently coach and support managers. You will have your own responsibility for two of the Nordic countries.

Our HR Business Partners work broadly towards their parts of the business, and in addition are specialists in some HR areas, as well as country specific laws and regulations. Your work will, to some extent, also be influenced by the HR initiatives coming from our European HQ in Hamburg.

The position reports to the HR Manager North (also based in Stockholm).

The position
As HR Business Partner in the North HR team you will contribute to the HR agenda and strategy by providing an effective and pro-active HR service covering all aspects of the Human Resources field of expertise:

  • Act as first point of contact to support business managers on people related topics and processes
  • Proactively handle general employee queries. Resolve issues and respond with a first class support
  • On a daily basis, manage the in- and output of employee data and maintain records in HR systems to ensure the highest level of data quality
  • Continually streamline and improve processes to enhance workflow, efficiency and quality
  • The position is the point of contact for regional Hamburg based CoE (Centre of Excellence), and will be working actively and closely with the regional expertise teams to deliver the HR agenda

It is primarily an operational HR role, but you will also run and implement strategic development projects. Together with the team you will also actively participate and contribute to the HR department's development and continuous improvement.

You are thorough, well organized and responsible. You plan and execute with regard to deadlines and put effort into making sure your stakeholders get regular and clear communication.

As Olympus is in a phase of change, it is very important that you are flexible, pragmatic and that you are not afraid to challenge old truths and dare to think and work in new ways.

  • Degree within Human Resources/Behavioral Science (or related field)
  • Approximately five years in an HR customer facing role within an international/EMEA organization, with operational and administrative responsibility
  • Proven track record of advising, challenging, coaching and supporting Business Managers on people-related issues and processes through the full HR life cycle
  • Experience with working in a Matrix governance model and/or with change management would be an added advantage
  • Profound knowledge of the Swedish Labor Law and of other Nordic country specific legislation
  • Confident user of HR software, to support HR Master Data as well as various HR processes. Experience of SAP SuccessFactors is a strong plus
  • Strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with ability to work with formulas and manipulate data
  • Strong language skills in English (oral and written) and at least one of the Nordic languages
