Role & Responsibilities:

As an Azure Architect, you will work collaboratively with your colleagues in the team to ensure the successful implementation, development, and maintenance of infrastructure and applications. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver well-functioning solutions that add value to our customers' businesses. Key aspects of your role will include:

Understanding customer requirements: You will engage with customers to gain a deep understanding of their needs and translate them into effective solution designs.

Solution design and implementation: Leveraging your expertise in enterprise architecture, you will design and implement solutions and services using Azure and Azure Active Directory. You will ensure that the solutions align with industry best practices and adhere to the principles of the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).

Infrastructure management: You will be responsible for managing all types of cloud infrastructure, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). This involves optimizing performance, scalability, and security.

Automation and DevOps practices: You will drive automation, orchestration, and the adoption of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Azure DevOps will be a key tool in this process.

Collaboration and knowledge sharing: You will collaborate with a diverse team of consultants, architects, developers, and project managers. Sharing knowledge and expertise across roles and locations is highly valued within our organization.

Skills & Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Experience with infrastructure and Cloud platforms: You should have a solid background in infrastructure and Cloud technologies, preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem. Previous positions should have provided you with a strong foundation to serve as a professional beacon for both customers and colleagues.

Enterprise architecture: Proficiency in enterprise architecture, including design and implementation, is essential. You should be capable of designing scalable, secure, and highly available solutions.

Azure and Azure Active Directory: In-depth knowledge of Azure and Azure Active Directory is required. You should be familiar with their capabilities and be able to leverage them effectively in solution design.

Automation, Orchestration, and DevOps Practices: Experience with automation, orchestration, and the adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, is necessary. You should be well-versed in tools and technologies that enable efficient software delivery.

Cloud Infrastructure Management: You should have expertise in managing various types of cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Understanding the best practices for performance optimization, scalability, and security is essential.

Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF): Familiarity with the principles and methodologies of the Cloud Adoption Framework will be an advantage. You should be able to apply CAF principles to solution design and implementation.

Azure DevOps: Proficiency in Azure DevOps as a tool is desired. Experience with its features, such as version control, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines, will be beneficial.

Basic IT security and governance: Knowledge of basic IT security and governance practices is expected. Understanding how to implement and enforce security measures within cloud environments is essential.
