Electronics Engineer, New Product Development

Arjo product development site in Malmö is expandingand and they are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer ready to take a broad responsibility when it comes to electronics and embedded systems.
You will work with development of new Medical Technology products that are at the forefront of the industry. Examples are hospital beds for e.g. intensive and critical care or baths with ultrasonic cleaning, therapies such as air and water massage, automatic cleaning systems with built-in sound and light systems, etc.
Main tasks as Electronics Engineer
You will be part of a dedicated and dynamic R&D team with diverse skill set and working in close cooperation with software- and mechanical developers. You will also be a part of a global network of electronics developers from Arjo's other R&D sites, exchanging experiences etc. Arjo work in tight and cross-functional teams where you will be working from concept phase until launch of finished products.
You will be responsible for the electrical design which includes schematics design, component selection including supplier contacts, testing and certifications. You are a part of the project all the way from concept phase until the product is delivered to the market.
Areas of work could be design of PCB, motor controlling, IoT, EMC and RF. The work will also consist of contacts with third party test houses like EMC labs, UL and TÜV.

The skills you will need
- Bachelor's degree within Electronics or similar
- At least 5 years' experience of working as an Electrical engineer preferably with embedded systems
- Good knowledge of electronical design methodologies and patterns
- Familiar with Altium Cad system or equal
- Beneficial if you have experience of medical device standards like 60601-1 and regulation of DC-motors
- Experience of C-programming is meritorious
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
