Are you a self-propelled and confident lead Accountant that enjoy working in a mechanical and technical environment?

At Arlanda (Stockholm), we are now looking for a:


The Senior Accountant is responsible for all the Accounting related operations in Sweden. Producing the financial reports are part of the key deliverables as well as support to local and regional management to enable them to make sound business decisions. You will be part of a dedicated Nordic Finance Team and share tasks and responsibilities across the region.


• Maintain accurate general ledgers and journals, verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable

• Ensure that records are booked, consolidated and reported

• Prepare statutory and management financial statements in compliance with legal requirements and analyze financial information and summarize financial status

• Provide the Nordic Finance Manager and Country Manager with ad hoc analysis

• Ensure that all VAT and tax reporting are timely and correctly prepared and filed and support auditors with financial statements, tax records and alike to ensure compliance

• Follow up doubtful debt positions, prepare relevant calculations and records for provisions

• Record, match and allocate incoming payments with the correct invoices. Follow up and report on debtors; identify late payments and report to senior management

• Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations to ensure correct company consolidation

• Accountable for recording newly-acquired fixed assets, tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the addition to and disposition of fixed assets


• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience within Accounting Operations and Certified Accountant (preferably)

• Strong experience in reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany invoicing and settlement and well accustomed to month-end closing processes and time-schedule thereof

• Strong experience in Statutory reporting and Management reporting

• Strong knowledge of SAP (or sim ERP sys) and preferably on application of various accounting tools

• Swedish as native language, and fluency in English
