SEB is looking for an experienced Information Security Officer to join Group Security & Cyber Defence. You will be responsible for managing and improving our information security management system, ensuring the security of third-party vendors, and assessing and mitigating security risks. It will require a deep understanding of security with focus on governance, standards, frameworks, best practices and regulatory compliance frameworks. You should be able to take a strategic and holistic approach for the needs today and in the future, ensuring SEB is a trusted and reliable financial institution. The position is based in Arenastaden in Stockholm and will report to Head of Security Governance.

You will be part of the Security Governance team with highly skilled professionals within Group Security & Cyber Defence. Your main area of responsibility will be overseeing and managing that the bank's information security program is in line with threat landscape, security standards and best practices. This includes the development, implementation, and enforcement of policies, instructions, and controls designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of SEB‘s information assets and customer information. You will provide support and advice to business divisions as well as support functions in helping them understand their roles and responsibilities in protecting the bank's information assets.

In your role, you will also work with various stakeholders across the organization cross SEB protecting our clients, partners, and SEB.

•        Develop and manage the information security management system in accordance with industry best practices and applicable regulatory requirements

•        Be an active contributor in the development of SEB security strategy

•        Develop and maintain instructions and guidelines related to information security, including third-party and cloud security

•        Guide and support in external and internal security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with SEB security standards and costumers & regulatory requirements

•        Provide advice and support to business divisions and supporting functions on security-related issues

•        Stay up to date on emerging security threats and trends, and recommend solutions to mitigate those risks

•        Collaborate with security related functions and other stakeholders, like business divisions, risk, technology, and compliance functions

•        Maintain an overall view of group wide security risks in close collaboration with risk functions 

•        Understand the impact on information security from new technologies and new business models

•        Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

•        5+ years of experience in information security, including experience with information security management systems, third-party security, and risk management.

•        Professional certifications such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), ISO 27001 Lead implementor or equivalent is highly desirable

•        Thorough understanding of security, international and industry standards, and best practices such as ISO 27001, NIST, ISF SoGP, CIS and PCI-DSS

•        Fluent in English is a required Swedish is desirable

•        You are a social, open, communicative, and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism

•        You are a problem solver with an innovative, service minded and flexible mindset

•        You can communicate complicated information to different target groups within the organization, regardless of whether it is another specialist or management. All this you do with high integrity and ethical standards with the best interest of SEB and its customers in mind.
