We are looking for a skilled and empathetic coach with a solid background in agile to join our studio. You will assist our internal teams working on projects and products. These teams work with clients who often act as product owner in a scrum context. You support the facilitation of best-practice agile ceremonies at the product/project level with a goal of continuous improvement of both the processes and the product we’re developing.

You are an expert in helping teams adopt a lean agile mindset, understanding the importance of tech spikes, POCs, and MVPs. You have most likely worked with teams of highly skilled individuals, you understand the challenges and advantages this brings and are experienced in leading change through influence.

Your day can look very different here depending on the needs we have at the moment. Some days you work more closely with the teams at Jayway, making sure that we are reinforcing an agile mindset and fostering an agile culture in everything we do both in Stockholm and our other offices. We have a lot of employees interested in agile development who want to expand their knowledge. During our competence sharing days and similar activities you could help drive agile thinking and coach more people to become agile experts.

Ultimately this is not a job ad for an enterprise agile transformation coach, you will be working to improve teams’ ways of working first and foremost.

Key responsibilities:

  • Mentor and support our internal teams working with external clients to help them achieve improved ways of working.

  • Liaise with external clients who often have strict deadlines, requirement lists, and budgets to come up with a way to incorporate agile ways of working in these projects.

  • Understand all moving parts of our engagements, the clients, the business, the team’s desires, the contract, and advise ways to work and improve.

  • Lead workshops and training sessions to educate peers and clients on agile values, principles, and practices and why they are important.


  • Having a number of years experience, this is not your first coaching gig and you are familiar with the intricacies of agile. Scrum, Kanban, and Lean are second nature to you, and maybe you’ve even experimented with other agile ways of working.

  • You have proven experience of coming into complex projects, teams, and relationships and listening to what is going on, perhaps you’re described by colleagues as a great listener or an analytical thinker. You first want to find out what the problems are before jumping into solutions.

  • You have been working within constraints of different problem spaces and different personalities and switch contexts like a pro.

  • You have worked directly with clients or customers and understand the importance of always dealing with clients in a professional manner.
