Bellwether Behavioral Health is currently in search of a dedicated professional to fill the position of Recruiting Assistant. The Recruiting Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to all aspects of the recruitment function including resume review, candidate screening, interview scheduling, submitting background checks, and compiling and submitting new hire paperwork. The Recruiting Assistant will report directly to the Recruiting Manager.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service as first point of contact for the candidates

  • Post open positions on relevant job boards and updating as appropriate

  • Source, phone screen and schedule of applicants 

  • Coordinate interview dates and logistics through effective communication and at the direction of the recruiters, supervisors, and candidates

  • Assist with all aspects of the pre-employment process

  • Maintain tracking information and records as required

  • Ensure proper electronic/regular storage of candidate files

  • Responsible for compilation and final review of new hire files to ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and disseminated to the proper department (ie. HR, Payroll, licensing, etc)

  • Participation in internal and external events

  • Respond to calls and e-mails from  and candidates and directing them as appropriate

  • Administrative support as needed to ensure a high-functioning team

  • Actively participates in Recruiting and other meetings as assigned 

  • Provide on-site and off-site support to assigned regions as well as other Bellwether locations as needed

  • Serve as a role model by exemplifying professional  behavior, language, skills, and attire  

  • Assure adherence to Program procedures and compliance with Bellwether policies and the regulatory requirements of its licensing agencies

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualified Applicants:

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills
  • The ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism
  • Ability to make sound decisions without appreciable direction or advance preparation

  • Ability to gain trust and maintain confidentiality 

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in Recruiting or Human Resources

H.S. Diploma required. A.A. Degree in Business preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel

Valid, active driver’s license with no major violations within the past three years
