RESTAURANT  MANAGER – RESTAURANT MANAGER – FOOD SERVICE MANAGER

 

We have immediate positions available for Restaurant Managers and General Managers who take pride in driving sales, while creating a great environment for the team members and guest. These positions require at least 1.5 years of experience for Managers and five years of consecutive Restaurant General Management experience for GM's; great stability and tenure is a must (no more than two jobs in seven years for GM positions). The "Leader" will be responsible for the management and operation of a Multi-Million dollar unit; which in tales development and growth of team members, sales and profits. High volume experience is required for the position, no less than $2 Million in volume. Must have a clean background and be able to pass a drug test. 

 


Areas of Responsibility Include:

 
  • Oversee every aspect restaurant operations.

  • Controlling day-to-day operations - profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.

  • Working with area supervisor to develop the restaurant's annual operating budget and control all profit and loss centers, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs.

  • Operating the business in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws.

  • Will directly impact interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Responsible for all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties, completed accurately, on time and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

  • Manage all shifts, which include daily decision-making, staff support, scheduling and planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.

  • Maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour.

  • Enforcing safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment for both guests and crew members.

  • Monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards.

  • Meet the restaurant's P&L, and expense goals

  • Promoting suggestive selling techniques.

  • Maintaining professional behavior while creating a warm, fun, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere.

  • Prepare quarterly Sales and projections for area supervisor approval including follow up on store action plans.

Kvalifikationer

Restaurant Managers MUST have recent casual / family dining experience and management experience.

 

  • Maintaining an accurate and up to date manpower plan of restaurant staffing needs
  •  Preparing schedules and ensuring that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts 
  •  Managing operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision making, staff support, guest
  • interaction, scheduling, planning, while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness
  • Maintaining an accurate and up to date manpower plan of restaurant staffing needs
  •  Preparing schedules and ensuring that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts
  • Strong operational background and knowledge in the Food and Beverage industry 
  • Exceptional team building skills 
  • Experience with 2 million annual volume or higher 
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
