CBTJ Financial Services is looking for a Financial Accountant to be based in our office in Amsterdam. The company is responsible for the management of EQT’s holding company structures and special purpose vehicles within the Fund structures. The office also provides support services to the different funds and other companies within EQT.
As Financial Accountant you will be part of the team responsible for the entities within the different EQT structures.

Tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Accounting and related fiscal issues for a given number of entities within the EQT structures, including Cash management, preparation of interim/Annual Reports, audit files, VAT returns, accounts analysis, receivables/payables etc.
- Challenging complex legal/tax issues
- Identify issues and transaction-documentation that should be reflected in the accounts and initiate the handling of such issues
- Communication with external consultants such as auditors, tax and other advisors
- Participate, contribute and assist in the interaction process between different stakeholders (investors, banks, advisors, shareholders etc)
- Contribute and help develop the team and the organisation with a refreshing perspective on relevant business issues and internal processes
Candidate profile:
- Degree in Accounting and/or Business Economics
- 4-6 years relevant work experience
- Preferably in an international organisation within the trust/investment/financial services/audit environment
- Knowledge of multiple GAAPs and IFRS
- Fluent in English and preferably also in Dutch
- Highly analytical mindset with an eye for detail
