About the position:
Net Entertainment is now seeking a Release Manager for our application management department.
As a Release Manager within Net Entertainment you will be part of a team working with all the activities related to the delivery of the product CasinoModule™ and enable games as a service to Net Entertainment customers. This includes working with the release of software, from development until operational stage. To be able to do this you will co-operate with many of the other teams within the company. The work includes third line application support that is related to the build and deploys of the CasinoModule™ software and the games.
The Application management team members contribute to successful upgrades, stable and reliable production and test systems, detailed deploy schedule for new releases, accurate customer configuration records and customer satisfaction in the support and management processes.
As a Release Manager you will responsible for release planning and improvement work to the release process. You will be the key figure that keeps track of the progress of current releases and gathers the information on upcoming releases. You will also be responsible for decisions on whether release dates are feasible in conjunction with other releases as well as for areas concerning the release of software.
What's your background?
We believe the ideal candidate has at least 4-5 years of experience from working with IT and software and previous experience of release management in a dynamic environment.
It is preferably that you also have the following:
An academic degree within computer science
Good knowledge of ITIL and/or process improvement
Basic project management skills
Basic technical IT skills
Fluency in English, both written and oral
